Yes, we realize it's been nearly 2 months since Bugs' site has been updated.  Her schedule's just been swamped that she hasn't had the time to provide us with information for her site.  She's almost 4 months old now, and has grown a lot.  She had her first visit to the vet last week, and got all her shots and everything taking care of.  She weighs about 27 pounds, and is just as wild and ornery as ever.  Fortunately for her, however, she really hasn't done too much damage around her owners' home.  Now that she's pratically all grown up, Bugs spends a great deal of time wrestling with her big sisters.

Now although she's growing up physically, she still has a lot of learning left to do.  She's not quite house-broken yet... well, she's really not house-broken at all.  But she's still a pup.

And, well, I guess that’s the 60th through 111th days of Bugs’ life in a nutshell.  Stay tuned for pictures.  We'll be getting to the photo gallery hopfully sometime within the next week.

Well, it's been a whole week now since Bugs arrived at her new home. Today Bugs spent her afternoon in the pool. She finds swimming to be an effective way to escape the heat, and the extra exercise is good for her growing body. Coming out of the pool, she looks like a drowned rat. But she dries off quickly. So nobody has to look at her too long.

Bugs continues to become more and more ornery. Her owner has considered taking Bugs back for a refund... but she’ll give her a few more days. Sometimes she’s not so bad. She’s even slept through a few nights without much interruption.

And that’s the 59th day of Bugs’ life in a nutshell.

Bugs woke up at 4:30 AM after a night of yipping and whining (she slept through her first night without a sound, but last night was different). Anyways, her daily routine has become pretty predictable:

1. She wakes up.

2. She goes potty.

3. She eats.

4. She goes potty.

5. She plays with her toys.

6. She goes to sleep.

7. Repeat steps 1-6.

She's becoming more and more used to her "sisters", Shelby and Sophie. Overall Bugs is not a timid animal. In fact, she's very confident and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. It appears that before long the older dogs are going to be intimidated by their new boss... not the other way around.

And that, my friends, is the 54th day of Bugs' life in a nutshell.

Bugs came home for the first time today, at 52 days old and weighing about 10 pounds. Besides posing for publicity shots and launching her first web site, she's been pretty busy checking out her new home.

Upon arriving at the new house, Bugs was greeted by several humans who seemed excited to see her.  She was also introduced to her new canine companions, Shelby (yellow lab) and Sophie (black lab). Shelby and Sophie are both a little, uh, concerned about this intruder. I guess they're a little bit jealous, too.

Bugs found her new bed, a crate, to be satisfactory. She gets to sleep in her owner's room.

The outside of the house provides plenty of opportunity for exploration. Huge yard. Lots of trees. Big concrete steps. Pretty nice. Except for the bugs. She doesn't really care for them.
